"They go a-gether"
This is what Walker says when he is putting his Legos together... or rather "a-gether". I snapped a few shots of his focused Lego work this afternoon and thought I'd share. Walker has spent the last two weeks with a runny nose and a persistent cough. A few days ago I saw him tugging on his ears - he said "Mommy, I have something in my ear." Uh, oh. After seeing the pediatrician yesterday, Walker is now on a round of antibiotics for a pretty bad double ear infection. He seems to be in great spirits despite the diagnosis. I swear, nothing gets this kid down.

Daddy Weekend
While I was gone this weekend at Bubbe Margie's memorial in California, Dad and Walker took on the town! Here's our kiddo on the McKinney trolley - always a favorite.

Today was a work day for Jack, so our sweet friend Valerie took Walker for the day. Here is a photo she snapped of Walker and her son, Mosely during their THREE HOUR nap. I love it!
Mommy is back home safe and sound and happy to be in the arms of her boys. Margie's memorial was beautiful, rich, heartwarming, funny and much much much needed for me. Thank you Jack and Walker for letting me fly away with my own Daddy for the weekend.

On the Green
The day before Easter, the Greenman family headed out with Pa John for a little spring picnic. We tried to hit the Arboretum, but due to impossibly long lines we opted for a little stretch of green in the Highland Park neighborhood. Here are some photos of Pa John and Walker enjoying a little time at water's edge.

And here we are the day after Easter asleep in the car after a wonderful lunch and shopping adventure. While Walker was asleep in the car, I dropped Pa John off at a nearby golf course. The day was too nice to skip a round of golf.
After an almost FOUR HOUR nap, we spent some time at the course waiting for Pa John to finish up. Walker "found" a golf ball! Pa John says that we stole it, but that it was okay because stealing a golf ball off of the driving range is the perfect crime. No one can ever trace it back to us!

All in all, it was a great Day. Pa John played his 18 holes with a Tommy Lee Jones look-a-like and ended up shooting a 74 - only 2 over par! Here we are finishing the day with a quick ride around the back porch.
