On the Green

The day before Easter, the Greenman family headed out with Pa John for a little spring picnic. We tried to hit the Arboretum, but due to impossibly long lines we opted for a little stretch of green in the Highland Park neighborhood. Here are some photos of Pa John and Walker enjoying a little time at water's edge.

And here we are the day after Easter asleep in the car after a wonderful lunch and shopping adventure. While Walker was asleep in the car, I dropped Pa John off at a nearby golf course. The day was too nice to skip a round of golf.

After an almost FOUR HOUR nap, we spent some time at the course waiting for Pa John to finish up. Walker "found" a golf ball! Pa John says that we stole it, but that it was okay because stealing a golf ball off of the driving range is the perfect crime. No one can ever trace it back to us!

All in all, it was a great Day. Pa John played his 18 holes with a Tommy Lee Jones look-a-like and ended up shooting a 74 - only 2 over par! Here we are finishing the day with a quick ride around the back porch.

Glad to see Walker getting out on a golf course, especially with Pa John! I see a foursome in our future. So happy you are all getting out in some nice weather.

Such fun on the green. Finding golf balls when you are with your Pa John probably beats scrambling for Easter eggs with a bunch of kiddos! Happy days.
