Time with Ooh-See
Lucy a.k.a. "Ooh-See" is in town for a visit and we have had the loveliest of times! Here's a little peek into the last few days. The first few photos are from the our trip to the Nasher Sculpture Garden and the Dallas Arts District.

Here's the dynamic duo enjoying some morning time: reading, laughing and dancing like whirling dervishes.

The Soloist
Walker had Jack all to himself today. Mama was asleep all morning after spending a 12 hour grave yard stretch at the birth center. So they hit the park for some fun on the jungle gym. And, as usual, Walker became very interested is the basketball game at the edge of the park.

Back at home - Mama is up and rested. Walker was over-warm from his time at the park and needed to strip down to stay cool. And what do you do when hanging out in your skivvies? Play the drums, of course! Walker has been watching Jack play the drum kit with keen interest, so today he gave it a whirl.

And here is Walker's first music video. Eat your heart out, MTV.

Share?
Thursday play day. Today, we hosted our weekly get together. I love all the women in our group and I love their kids. Its a great group. All the kids are around 18 months - just beginning to get a whiff of what it means to share. It was so good for Walker to have his friends sifting through all his stuff. Here we are scampering about the house and making merry.

Weekend Away Part 1
We've just returned from a lovely weekend away! We headed south to Fredericksburg, TX for the wedding of my college girlfriend. The boys and I spent the afternoon window shopping and trying on cowboy hats.

Then, back to our hotel for a dip in their fabulous pool! Walker is 100% water baby. Our little man loved the pool and waterfall.

We spent the evening at Kristen's Hill Country wedding with Sophie and Corinne - dear friends from Mills College.

Walker spent the entire evening in and around Kristen's bright red Empanada Truck. She and her new husband co-own Mmmpanadas - a roving empanada business!
