The Boys are Back in Town

Our dear dear friends, The Smith Family, are about to leave Dallas for new jobs in Bethesda, Maryland.  The packers came... and then the movers.  They are out of their house and staying with us for a few days until the hour of their departure.  The Greenmans are sad puppies to see Mr. and Mrs. Smith go to Washington.  For the time being, we are thrilled to be sharing our space with them.  Ashley, Anne, Mackey and Cashel are our family and we want to see as much of them as possible before they fly away.  Charlie and Cashel, especially, are getting some memorable one on one time.

Reminds me of two other little people I once knew..

The Cover Up

The morning before we left the farm in Oregon, the boys lounged together on the sofa for a few minutes.  Happy was making breakfast and Walker thought that it was a bit chilly in the house.  Walker snuggled up to Charlie who then pulled his blanket up over his face.  I guess he was chilly too.

Farewell Sweet Farm

Charlie, Jack and I leave tomorrow morning on a three day journey home to Dallas.  Walker will be staying at the farm with Obbie and Happy for two weeks, while his brother undergoes craniofacial surgery.  Its hard to leave, but Jack and I are both ready for what lies ahead.  Here are some photos of our last two days in Oregon.  These have been among the sweetest days of our summer.

Seattle to Wenatchee to Richland

We just finished a beautiful few days with Grammie Betsy in Seattle!  Walking around Capitol Hill, visiting our favorite book stores and eating at yummy cafes was the perfect way to pass the time!

Two arms for two babies:

We loved having breakfast at the Odd Fellows Hall, a renovated space where Jack 

used to teach voice and speech when it was formerly the Freehold Studio Theater.

We headed back to the farm yesterday via Wenatchee to visit our dear dear friend, 

Lisa, and her sweet children - Emmawyn and Owyn.  Walker was over the moon to 

see old friends in a foreign place!

Wmmawyn showed Walker how to pick blueberries and raspberries.

Back home with Happy on the 4-Wheeler!
