Chicago comes to Dallas!
Its been a very exciting couple of days for Walker because his Uncle Joel and Sam are visiting Dallas from Chicago! Today, after a trip to the park, we met Jack for lunch at a famous Dallas burger joint and Walker enjoyed his first onion ring, which he pronounced to be "Very good".

During naps, Joel was coerced into refinishing a piece of furniture. I bribed him with cake balls. Works every time! Soon, the kids were up and we all convened in Walker's bedroom to play Legos. All in all, a very cool day! Tonight, Walker has a babysitter (his favorite, Abbey) while we four head off to enjoy dinner and drinks Texas style!

Ride-On
This morning was cold and rainy, but we were not deterred. Despite the weather, the Greenmans headed out for a family date! First stop, Walker's favorite playground and a ride on the handicap accessible swing. Good stuff.

After the park, we headed downtown for a trip on the McKinney Trolley, again. This is a no-fail treat for us all. Here is walker waiting for the trolley and enjoying a quick juice box.

After a yummy lunch at Village Burger Bar, we stopped in at the local bookstore something new to read. Here is Walker on the way home looking over his new title. Get ready kiddo, because we are DONE changing your diapers!

Southern Treats
Met with our wonderful and faithful playgroup this morning. Walker loved chasing Chrystyna's bubbles as you can see below.

After some serious play time and a little lunch, Lisa broke out the red velvet cupcakes. I had not experienced red velvet cake until moving to Dallas, so I call it our Southern Treat. Walker, the ultimate cupcake connoisseur, gave it a big thumbs up.

And here is a quick shot of all the gorgeous wild flowers popping up along the highways. Dallas does have some amazing wild flowers!
