For Grandma Happy

When we were in California, my Mom made up a little song for Walker that repeated the word "happy". Now when Walker sees pictures of his Grandma Connie, he claps his hands together one time and yells "Appy!" Hence the title of this post:

So Hi Mom - this one's for you. You wanted photos of our new apartment - here they are! We're still settling in, but things are definitely shaping up! For documentation purposes, I thought I'd add them to the blog. This will probably be the first home that Walker remembers... OH Please God don't make me move for at least three more years! Here's the grand tour:

Saturday's Child

Walker spent Saturday afternoon exploring the house and playing with all of the wonderful Christmas toys he left behind for a month in California. Isn't it nice to reunite with all of your favorite things and search the undiscovered territories of your own home?

This video was taken at the window in Walker's room, which looks on to a construction site. What more could a tractor-truck obsessed boy want?

Weeeeeee!

Mom and I took Walker to the City Park in Paso Robles a few weeks back. Walker would stay in the swing all day if we let him. He LOVES it. Here's a little video I took of Walker and Grandma Connie at the swing set watching all the girls go by.

Beauty School

While in California, Walker was treated to a spa day with Grandma Connie. Here he is getting his first big haircut.

As you can see in the video, Walker wasn't quite sure what was happening:

Walker's Wheelbarrow

While Walker and I were in California, we stayed with my cousins Bill and Terrin. They have a great plot of land in Templeton filled with goats, chickens, dogs and Walker's favorite, an out of commission wheelbarrow stowed behind the potting shed.

And here is a video of Walker at the wheel.

Cheese Please

Walker tries a Gorgnzola cracker. Cousin Bill thinks they're tops, but Walker isn't so sure.

Walker get's cozy with Aunt Sue's dog, Cooper.
