A Sunday in Pictures

Our morning began with Walker poking his head out his bedroom door at 6:30am and announcing, "Hey Mom and Dad, wanna see what I did to my bed?"  Jack and I gave each other a look that expressed our shared dread.  We went to see Walker's handiwork and were pleasantly surprised to see that he'd made his bed!  I didn't learn to do that until I was 18 years old, so he's way ahead of the curve.

Breakfast:

Playtime for the boys in Walker's room:

Walker decided to make a series of home movies with our durable little flip camera.
I'm so curious to see what he captured!

In the afternoon, we picked up a soccer goal from Target and took the ball outside for a game.  The weather was beautiful!  We were joined by our next door neighbor, Jeffery, who is seven.  Jeffery showed Walker how to kick a goal!

Charlie watched from the sidelines until it was too cold and had to return to the house.

Happy Sunday everyone!

GREAT GREAT action shots and Sunday story photos - Isn't it funny the way adults immediately interpret "look what I did to my bed?" - that's where my head went!!
Charlies' got such a happy and expressive face. The photo of Charlie and Walker 'conversing' over the flip camera is priceless. Oh I love all the pics.....love you!

What a treat to see all these. I am so proud of Walker. The bed making gene must skip a generation in our family. I like a bed made, but I remember my folks bed was always unmade. Maybe that's how they ended up with six kids!!! ;-}
