Big Purty
This is Pa John's new nick name for Charlie. He says he can use it as his pro wrestling name later in life. But as far as descriptive nick names go, "Big Purty" is perfect. Charlie is big. And he is really pretty - or as we say in Texas, "purty". Today, Charlie showed more signs of recovery from his lung infection with lots of alert and smiley play time. Here he is with Daddy checking out this crazy colorful toy.

Hey, I like Dad's glasses. Are those new? And, yeah, Big Purty does fit, but he'll always be Charlie Bear to me. Kisses to all.
They're just reading glasses. He's playing a little Trombone these days when he reads so we picked them up at the drug store. And yes, Charlie is amassing many many nicknames.
I can only imagine the conversation about the crazy block! Charlie is so focused and Jack is having such a great time! Love the photos! Jack now joins us in the game of "where are my reading glasses" - "oh, on my head"!
