Day at the Park

The Champ Goes in for an EEG

Charlie had a routine EEG on Wednesday this week. It was a big day in the hospital, but our Charlie Fighting Bear took it in stride as he does most things. We'll have some results next week sometime, but until then, here's our little guy in action...

Six Years Old Today

Walker Starr is six today. He spent the day at school with his friends and classmates. They celebrated him all day, crowning him superstar of the classroom. Walker chose the lessons and games at school and was even given a big star sticker to wear all day at school. Mama and Charlie showed up 20 minutes before the end of school to deliver a tray of red velvet cakeballs and sing a boisterous round of "Happy Birthday" with Walker's class.

Multicultural Carnival

Last Thursday, Skyview Elementary hosted a multicultural carnival on campus. Walker and the kindergarten class did some Irish Dances and even asked the mamas to get involved!

After the group dancing and a quick stop at the cafeteria for Elote and Tosdadas, Daddy and Charlie went home while Walker explored the game rooms and petting zoo.

And the cherry on top was a trip in the Human Hamster Ball!
