First leg of the Journey

Just left the Big D for California! Here's Walker in the San Jose Airport waiting for his luggage.

We've made it to Cayucos and all our favorite people are here!!! Well, almost all of our favorite people. Here's Walker and Gramie Betsy on the deck overlooking the Pacific!

I've missed you Uncle Gil...

Look at what we found in the Beach House. Who doesn't love a dump truck?

Some down time with Grandma Connie.

So happy to be here!

Walker is Walking

Today was a big day! Walker is now officially walking. He's been toddling around - one or two steps - for quite a while, but always preferred crawling. But today, something clicked and now he's off to the races! So Walker spent the day (a very humid 84 degree day in Dallas) walking around the apartment in a diaper. Walker also pulled out some accessories to match the Pampers.

We also had a wonderful visit from our dear friend, Shaye, in town from San Francisco for the holiday! Here are a few shots of Shaye and the little guy.

Christmas Day

Merry Christmas All! We miss you dearly and wish we were together on this gorgeous morning. As you can see, Walker is busy with his wooden car from Aunt B and the "activity cube" from Santa. And as with most kids... nothing beats an empty moving box! Hope you are warm and healthy and happy today. All our love!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve warmed up enough for Walker to shed his PJs and sport the "Porky Pig" look. We spent the evening watching "A Charlie Brown Christmas" and baking Betsy's Dummerston Apple Pie. Yum!

The Reading Room

Walker is a busy little guy these days. This is how I found him yesterday afternoon:

And here's our baby bookworm on video:

The Greenman Grandparents

The Greenman Grandparents were just here from Virginia for a wonderful holiday visit! A good time was had by all - especially Mr. Walker. Here are some shots of Walker and Grandpa John playing together as well as Grandma Patty getting a photo of her own. Oh... And a little video just for fun! Thanks John and Patty... it was so lovely having you here!

Walker and the Float Plane

One of Walker and Jack's little bath rituals is to "fly" a rubber float plane that Grandpa Obbie recently picked up at a flight museum in Kansas City. Jack makes airplane sounds and pretends to take off, fly around the bath and then land back in the water. Tonight, I caught it on video. After Jack is done, Walker picks up the plane and does his own version of the fly-by. Hilarious! (Caution - the following video contains nudity.)
