Summer Visit from Joel, Meg and Pa John

The Lambie men descended on Cedar City this weekend!

Joel and Meg flew in from Chicago by way of Las Vegas, 

and Pa John joined the fun from Los Angeles.

The boys also had some time to hike, picnic and play in the park with us!

Meg, Pa John and I took Walker to the Cedar City lake for a cool dip on a hot day.

And of course, Walker had the family building a sand castle in no time!

On Sunday, Pa John hung with the boys so that Joel, Meg, Martha, Jack and I 

could do a little hiking in Zion National Park. It was Joel's first time!

Saint Martha stayed with Charlie while the family went out for a dinner date.

Joel and Meg were also in need of some professional looking head shots, 

so we did a little photo shoot! Aren't they beautiful!!

Weekend Away at the Grand Canyon

Last weekend, it was Mom and Dad's turn to have a little time away. We hit the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, stayed the night in Kanab and then toured Zion National Park on our way home to Cedar City. All told, we were away about 36 hours, but it felt much longer. Thank you to Martha - oh lovely Martha - how could this summer ever happen without you?

Charlie is Four Years Old!

Charlie spent his birthday at home this year. A morning of playing with Walker and a nap was followed by cupcakes, music, presents and handmade decor by our dear friend, Martha. What a lovely way to celebrate our sweet Charlie Bear!  He ate about half a cupcake with assistance from Mom and also thoroughly enjoyed his new books, "The Foot Book" from Martha, "The Fantastic Finger Book" from Walker and "The Sailor Dog" from Aunt Betsey and Linda! Here are some shots of our big 4-year-old at his little party.
