The Back Yard Bunch

We spent the morning out in the back yard today.
Walker took to his sandbox and Charlie took to the grass.

And of course, Grammie Betsy is visiting this week, which means QUADRUPLE the fun!

Back inside - Grammie and Walker had a go with the train set:

Then Grammie and Walker decided to rebuild a defunct helicopter.
They might not be ready to go to work at Boeing, but they had a great time!

And at the end of the evening, we were able to soak off all
the dirt and grime from the day's activities.  Naked babies, naked babies!

Beach Ball

One of Charlie's favorite "therapy toys" is this big beach ball.
He just can't quite get it in his mouth.

Photos from the weekend...

Look, shoes!  We decided that Charlie needed to take it up a notch and dress like a one year old.  because of his physical stuff, we've always got him in a onesie or PJs.  Saturday, we pulled out an old pair of Walker shoes.  He looked great!

Here is a photo of Walker at 14 months (same age as Charlie) wearing the shoes:

Once he was all dressed up, we headed to our neighborhood Oktoberfest.  It was a fabulous gathering and the turn out was amazing!  It was so exciting to see our immediate community out and about enjoying a beer together.  Here we are raising a glass!

Today was great... we spent the whole morning on the back patio.  Chillin'.

Front Yard, Party of Four

We spent our Friday evening in the front yard, enjoying the breeze, the beer and the side walk chalk.  The weather was divine and so was the company.  Charlie had some much needed snuggle time with Jack and Walker and I explored the wild wilderness of our front lawn.

Hiding.

This boy can make ANYTHING into a gun.

What a surprise... Walker found a weed.
