Boy Scouts of America
Our UU church in Dallas just started the first ever openly gay inclusive boy scout troop! And Walker is now a proud member! Our first hike will be on the morning of Walker's birthday to Cedar Ridge here in Dallas! Here's our happy camper in his new uniform. Now Mom, needs to stitch some troop numbers to his shirt sleeve!

What wonderful adventures are in store! He's going to learn so much and have fun at the same time.
Such fun ahead. Every once in awhile the things (especially songs) I learned in Brownies and Girl Scouts still come back into my head. Happy guy! Great for UU church to be blazing the inclusive trail in this creative way.
