After dinner ducks

Our resident ducks have been sorely neglected these past few days. They've been pecking around in the snow for food and hiding under the trees to avoid frigid winds. This morning a few ducks ventured over to our lawn, looked in our front window and made sad, desperate faces. I think one saw me making lunch and gave me the bird. So, tonight, after dinner, we took a bag of bread out to the starving scavengers.
