Charlie Discovers a Karaoke Machine
Today, the Square Pegs - our neighborhood group for families with children with special needs - gathered for our end of the school year party. We have two family gatherings a year. One in December for the holidays and one in May.
We were rained out of our usual park location (Dallas has not had three consecutive days without rain since February 6th). So instead, we gathered at our friend's home just a few streets down from Timberleaf. Walker made his way to the Lego box but Charlie was having a hard time finding something to engage in. He lacked enough coordination to try the trampoline and the Lego gang was pretty exclusive. After a short stint at playing dolls with the girls, our host pulled out a little karaoke machine and turned the reverb WAY up. Needless to say, Charlie was a fan.

Weekend in May
First, we are only two weeks from saying goodbye to Daddy for THREE months. (He's been diligently at work on his lines for Macbeth and Much Ado.) But school is still well underway for the boys, as is therapy for Charlie and an upcoming piano recital for Walker on May 30th. Here are some shots from this past weekend.
