Meg Visits Dallas

Joel's girlfriend Meg arrived last night so we thought we'd take her to the Arboretum for a wintery view of the Chihuly exhibit.  Yes, it was really cold, but we bundled up the boys and had a wonderful time!

Post Holiday Doings

Today was spent in the house avoiding Texas drivers who are notoriously bad at driving in snow.  We played games, built toys, drank yummy beverages, and ate our weight in pie. Why my mother and I made five pies for four people - I haven't quite figured out.  But I'm not complaining.  Two apple, two pumpkin and a pecan pie to boot!  I have been playing with my newest and most amazing Christmas gift - a new camera!  I'm beyond thrilled and cannot wait to explore all it's marvelous buttons and magical gadgets.  Until then, please enjoy these manual setting, unaltered test photos.

Jack's new toy.

Uncle Joel mercilessly tickles Walker's feet while we stand by and do nothing to help him.

Walker wiggles away until his pants fall off.

Grandma Happy sits among the Christmas gifts and chats with Charlie.

Holiday bouquet in Sarah's studio.

Walker looks through his 3D bug book from Santa.

A very cook ball puzzle maze from Uncle Gil. This one has all of us giving it a whirl.

Walker puts his saved up coins in his new coin counter.

The solar powered mill is ready to roll. Walker is amazed that it seems to work like magic!

Uncle Joel is pleased with his efforts. Then he sees this photo and asks for a beard trimmer.

Walker is ready for what is next...

White Christmas

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning was incredible. I think Jack and I have had as much fun as the boys. We're feeling very lucky and grateful today. Here are some quick snap shots and a few videos. I'll add more later!

Jack looks through a photo book of his trip to Barcelona - thank you Betsy!

Charlie is fascinated with his light-up carousel from Pa John!

Make it go again - Charlie keeps signing "more, more more".

Walker sets up his train under the tree as it begins to snow!

Dallas has never had a white Christmas!
