I love a bargain! A friend of mine helped us snag this double jogging stroller for a steal! Not only is it great for a jog, but I also need it to get to and from my boot camp classes. I also have a feeling that it will come in handy for other long arch errands. It was pretty cold this morning, so I bundled them up. They look like FDR.

Handmade Christmas Garland
We had a lovely Thanksgiving meal with the Hinton Family last night. This morning we enjoyed a quiet morning of coffee, left over pumpkin pie, The Charlie Brown Christmas Special and a craft project. We're in the process of making a paper chain garland for our Christmas tree. We've still got a long way to go, but here is the beginning of our efforts.
Walker is sad that we don't yet have a Christmas tree to hang it on.
Patience, baby, patience. Nothing ever comes all at once. Especially good things.
Wondering how to make one of these beauties for yourself?
Here is a video of Walker explaining the process to Daddy.

Let's Just See...
...if he'll sit in the highchair without all of the straps. While he was a bit wobbly, he was able to sit up here for about three minutes before keeling over to one side. Getting stronger every day!

Brothers
Its a cold gray morning in Dallas and we're still in our pajamas. We have nothing to do today (except laundry and some light sewing) but as far as the boys are concerned, its a free day. And they're right. A free day for two free boys, uninhibited and completely in love with each other. Here is a look at our cuddly morning in bed. Even though Charlie has no words to express how he feels about Walker, you can see it in every move he makes. And Walker? Well, Walker always lets you know how he feels.

I hope they keep their snuggle bug ways as they grow older.

Waiting is Hard
Walker: When will Daddy be home?
Mommy: Wednesday.
Walker: How many nigh-nighs is that?
Mommy: Two night time nigh nighs.
Walker: Can I take them both at the same time?
Mommy: Nope. We just have to wait.
Walker: You must really like waiting.
Mommy: Nope. I don't like it any more than you do.
Walker: Then why do you do it?
Mommy: Because I have to.
Walker: When I grow up, maybe Daddy will have to wait for me?
Mommy: That's probably true.

Art Play Date
Jack is out of town again, working on the East Coast at Round House Theater. In his absence we've decided that no one will have any fun and that all entertaining activities will cease. Okay... that's not entirely true. Today we hosted a little play date. I had so many art supplies left over from Walker's party - although I don't think there is such a thing as "left over art supplies" - that I thought we'd go another round! A good time was had by all!
Caroline and Charlie talk shop.
Walker takes the girls into his room to play "house". Oh boy.
Eleanor loves wearing Walker's butterfly hat.
Reid was all about quiet solitary play time today.
Let the art making begin!
Sadie sat at the table longer than anyone else, very focused on her work.
Lucy knows just what she wants and how to make it. A girl after my own heart.
...and a video just as art time was ending.
