Professor Greenman
Today, Walker and Charlie and I accompanied Jack to work. Jack was interested in adding a playful energy to his morning warm-up with the grad students and some Junior undergrads. Here's Charlie getting changed before heading out. Look at all that round baby goodness! When he extends his legs he fills up the full length of the table. Ahhhhh!
The boys and I left Jack to teach his graduate voice and text class. Walker was very interested in the fountain outside the Meadows School of the Arts.

They come for conversation...
Even though they have their own room now, they still like to have our morning conversation in Mama and Daddy's bed. After I took these shots, I told Walker I was going to change Charlie's diaper. He reminded me to "Unzip his pajamas first. That will make it easier." Good point, Walker. Thank you.

The Art of Sitting
Another gratuitous photo session with little Charlie Brown Bear. We've been doing a lot of propped up sitting in the past week, which helps him to develop those core muscles and find a "center". I think he simply enjoys being upright and seeing the world. What baby doesn't?
At first we're upright and smiling...
...then we start teetering.
...then we start slumping.
...then we support our weight for a moment with our right hand.
...and then we fall over and comfort ourselves by sucking our thumb.
...then we roll over and wonder what happened.

Snuggles and Salsa
We here at the Greenman residence are big on snuggles and cuddles of all sorts. If we were paid by the hug, we'd all be gajillionaires. Here are some photos Jack took last night of our hug-fest.
I met a client for a post-partum appointment in Frisco last night, and instead of spending the whole evening in rush hour traffic by myself, the family joined me. We stayed out of traffic by enjoying dinner at La Hacienda Ranch - a Texas sized joint with amazing Tex-Mex fare and more taxidermy than anyone should be comfortable with.

Sharing a Room
Today, we moved Charlie into Walker's room. We added Charlie's crib and changing table as well as our blue wing back chair for nursing and reading. Walker was eager to share a room with Charlie, but tonight before bed, he got cold feet and asked if we could move the crib back into our room. So, we'll see how this transition goes. Walker is a champion sleeper and used to sleeping alone. It will probably take a few nights (or weeks) to get the hang of it... but we're all optimistic. Wish us luck!
We also took Walker and Charlie to Coffee Park today. The weather was clear and the temperature was in the high 50's - probably the warmest we'll see all week. Here's a shot that Jack caught of Walker:
