It's been a lovely weekend so far, although its not over yet! On Friday, we had our friend Evy over for a quick dip in the Greenman pool and a run through the sprinkler.
That same evening, we headed to a blessingway at Lisa's house for Mommy and "tummy baby". It was a wonderfully fun and chatty party. I'm so lucky to have such lovely friends. Thank you all! Saturday morning was cool enough (91 degrees) for a trip to our favorite park! Mommy sat in the shade with water and a hand fan while Gramie jumped in head first! After our spin at the park, we headed to the Highland Park Pharmacy for lunch and a coke float. If this isn't reminiscent of a Norman Rockwell painting, I don't know what is!
Here's a video at the soda fountain:
Today, we spent the morning in West DFW visiting our dear friends, The Hintons. Here are some sweet shots of Camdyn and Walker goofing around and having all sorts of fun. Camdyn kept changing outfits and announcing, "I'm george-ous". Such fun!
A very quiet father's day. We had a lovely morning visit from Anne and Mackey Smith followed by some afternoon napping. Walker and I then spent the better half of the day setting up elaborate train tracks and railways in the back room. Walker is very particular about how everything should be laid out - so I had to be a careful collaborator. After dinner, Walker took a dip in the pool. The light was good, so I grabbed the camera. Happy Father's day to Daddy, Pa John, Grandpa John and Pa Obbie. We miss you all and send all LOVE!
And here is a video of Walker singing and splashing:
Jack spent father's day hiking Zion with his buds!
Today is your third father's day! Can you believe it? Walker and I are missing you big time and sending all our love and biggest warmest best hugs. I hope you have a beautiful hike today in the wilds of Utah with all the other actor-fathers away from their families. You haven't seen the belly in about five weeks, so here's a little Happy Father's Day peek at boy number 2!
