Run, Walker, Run!

We spent another beautiful Friday enjoying the blooms at the Dallas Arboretum. We met up with two dear friends, Emmawyn and Mosely for some spring-time play and a picnic.

Evening Out

Yesterday Dallas was covered with snow and hit a low of 27 degrees. Today our high was 71 and all the snow was long gone. We spent the evening at one of our favorite parks and then headed into a nearby neighborhood for some Tex Mex food! I love going on family dates!

Splish, Splash, Snow?

A few shots of Walker last night playing in the bath tub:

Soon after putting him down for the night, it began to snow again! Here are the views of the house when we all awoke this morning. The first snow broke a 100 year record in Dallas, and now a month later, we've got another round to enjoy and shovel.

Margie Lambie

As most of you know we lost our beautiful Bubbe Margie this week. She passed away from complications due to a life-long heart condition. I wanted to post a few of my favorite photos of her, Pa John and Walker. Walker - you will never know how much this creative, spirited, wonderful woman loved you.

Bloom!

I'm a little late in getting these photos up - we visited with Dallas Arboretum last Friday for a birthday party. After the picnic party, Walker, Jack, my Mom and I spent the afternoon touring the grounds. This time of year at the Arboretum is known as "Dallas Blooms" and we enjoyed a profusion of bulb flowers. Spectacular!

Grandma Happy In Town!

Sunday, we took advantage of this beautiful weather and head to the Fort Worth Zoo! Here's Walker riding a stone tortoise. The real tortoise wasn't up for piggy back rides.

Dinner at a Mexican restaurant - Walker washes his meal down with a powdered donut.
